Yes, I found it recently too, and agree that the systematic setting out of scientific data about things one otherwise picks up piecemeal is both interesting and helpful.

I've found it extremely informative. Particularly the sections on day-length sensitivity, spacing, light requirements and root zone limitations, where 'traditional wisdom' is explaned with data.
