  • Pale Pink Crown Peas.

This is an F3 plant, the flowers are the palest pink to start before developing a little more colour.

The flowers do 'pink' up but still remain quite a pale pink.

What did go into this F3? Is it a cross or a selection from Salmon Flowered? You have some very interesting colours in your crown peas.

This is a cross with either, Alderman or Doug Bray of Grimsby, I'm not sure which as I haven't kept them separate since F2. I love Alderman, it's high on my list of favourite tasting peas and it does very well here. Doug Bray of Grimsby is also a tall, white flowering green shelling pea. I'd like to develop the 'Crown type' improving the taste and pea size whilst introducing different coloured flowers.

I love the pinks and this one was very pretty, such a lovely ivory green and palest pink when the flower first opened. I hope I've tagged this one to be able to keep the seeds separate!
