Deep Pink Crown type peas

Not quite sure how to describe the colour of these, they are quite striking to look at, maybe a deep pink and purple? Axil is as for pink/salmon flowers. The pictured flowers have been open a couple of days but they have been very noticeable from the start. I'll check the colour of the next newly opened flower to see how it compares. They are part of my Crown pea selection resulting from Salmon Flowered x

This is even darker than Redder Elisabeth! Well done on getting such a really super colour. A treat to look at.

I'd love to know what's going on there genetically. They are very cool.
