    The leaves are much thinner, not at all crispy like kale. You couldn't wrap a leaf of kale around a finger without cracking the rib, these leaves a very bendy.

    Looks different, the leaves or the colour of the leaves looks similar to kale I think.

    Turkish Rocket - Bunias orientalis

    Another useful perennial and self seeding. The leaves can be used for most of the year, although they are quite strong tasting, even bitter later in the year. The broccoli like flower shoots are delicious. And in spring the leaves are very much milder and suitable for salads, although I still prefer them cooked when they lose their hairiness. Once planted it is there forever, no work apart from harvesting, so it deserves a place in the garden. http://www.asterlaneedibles.ca/uploa..._i1_w2560.jpeg
