Welcome Poddy great name for a pea lover. I find tall peas so much easier than the short varieties. Mice, voles and birds are a menace, it is easier with tall peas, although you have to tie them to a support and the pigeons attack tall peas as well. Also the yields are much larger. Looking forward to reading your posts about your progress over the coming season.

I just wanted to say Hello. I'm a fellow pea lover and find some of the pictures and threads great. I've bought some Golden Sweet and Purple podded to try this year, I've just grown short type peas before.
